The Football Fathers have Met!
This evening the full cast and creative team of Football Fathers (Voetbalvaders) met for the first time! In total there were almost 30 people in the room…
Our first meeting also featured an exciting tour of De Grote Post, where the cast were able to stand on the stage they’ll be performing on in June.
We managed to capture some of these magical moments…

Artistic Residency at The Vooruit
04.02.2019 – 06.02.2019
Live Others completed an Artistic Residency with The Vooruit last week! It was an amazing opportunity to finalise our workshops for Football Fathers (Voetbalvaders) and creatively dig a little deeper with Ahilan Ratnamohan, who will be choreographing the piece.
Thanks so much to The Vooruit for their support of our company and the project.
We’ve had an amazing month delivering Masterclasses in Verbatim Theatre at Buckinghamshire New University, and with Theatre Royal Plymouth’s Lab Company. Thank you to all who participated!
“Engaging and inspiring day today, working with
@LiveOthersCo on verbatim theatre practice. Such a great workshop!” -tweet from Lab Company member
Virtual Reality installation: theatre of the future
20.11.2018 until 02.12.2018
As part of our residency at cultural centre De Grote Post (BE), we were invited to turn some inspiration for our new show into a 360° experience. Stars of the video are our collaborator choreographer Ahilan Ratnamohan and his daughter.
The result is presented in a cool, accessible VR installation that also displays contributions from There There Company, Luanda Casella and Laura Vroom. Go check it out at De Grote Post!
Support Flanders State of the Art
We have successfully applied for a grant with Flanders State of the Art! Our grant enables us to make and produce a Belgian edition of The Fatherhood Project in the season of 2018/2019 in Ostend (BE).
Stay tuned on information about cast and venues!
Workshops at Buckinghamshire New University
Just finished another set of educational workshops. We worked with a fantastic group of performing arts students from Buckinghamshire New University exploring verbatim theatre and creating their very own piece about gender politics. Special thanks to Oxfordshire Youth Arts Partnership (OYAP) for engaging us!
Residency at De Grote Post (BE)
We’ve been overwhelmed by the support of De Grote Post as we come to the end of our residency. Follow this link to read a Q&A between Live Others and the Cultural Centre, where we describe FATHERHOOD, our inspirations and where we hope to be in 5 years’ time:
Very excited to announce our artistic residency at the cultural centre De Grote Post in Ostend, Belgium! We were invited to work on The Fatherhood Project from 1 till 12 September 2017.
